In this riveting presentation, Dr. Gwilliam, a certified coder and auditor, will show you how to make sure the things you bill match what you have documented. Learn about the rules others use to scrutinize your records and find out how to shore up weaknesses in your clinical and billing processes. The most common procedures and diagnoses used by chiropractors will be reviewed and dissected in this class.
Dr. Gwilliam, Clinical Director for PayDC Chiropractic Software, graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic as Valedictorian and is a Certified Professional Coder, Medical Auditor, and Compliance Officer. Because he is also a clinician with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a Master’s of Business Administration he is a sought-after seminar speaker. Dr. Nick Payne graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2003 and began practicing with his father in Kentucky. Dr. Payne has become a well-known trainer in coding, documentation, and Medicare. He was voted Kentucky Chiropractor of the Year in 2011 and 2012 by his peers. Dr. Payne currently resides in Omaha, NE, and is the Executive Director of the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association.
