Hour #1: Cost Effectiveness Paper…Now What?
1. Create DC awareness of the outcomes of research related to this systematic review.
2. Provide suggestions related to dissemination of the paper, including recommendations to payors and employers.
3. Provide suggestions and tools for DCs related to various ways to use this paper to educate patients beginning Monday morning.
Hour #2: Are Your Members Prepared for Value-Based Modeling? How to Prevent an Audit!
1. Create awareness of the most common red flag issues often leading to an audit.
2. Create awareness of proper coding and documentation related to specific CPT and ICD codes.
3. Create awareness regarding industry standard clinical practice guidelines and care management recommendations.
Dr. Farabaugh practiced in Columbus Ohio from 1982-2018. He continues to serve as the VP and National Physical Medicine Director for Advanced Medicine Integration Group, LP (AMI) since 2015. He has held various positions in chiropractic including, but not limited to, the Healthcare Quality Advisory Council, the Official Disability Guidelines Editorial Advisory Board, ACA’s Research Advisory Board, Ohio State Chiropractic Board, Clinical Compass and more!
