Title: Informed Consent
Instructor: Dr. Edward Zimmer

CEs: 1 CE hour

Course Description
The common consideration given to the topic of informed consent is that as long as you have a patient sign a statement listing potential risks you are covered. There is so much more you need to know. Every malpractice lawsuit will allege lack of informed consent. In one short hour you will learn that there are several aspects of your informed consent which are most likely missing. These missing parts could render your form worthless when it is challenged.
You will also learn how to craft a more effective informed consent to reduce your risks should any legal action ever be taken against you.
